Drink Up Columbus is excited to host the official book launch party for Ohio Breweries the book, written by Ohio journalist Rick Armon, and you’re invited!

Join us on Thursday, September 1st, from 6-10pm at Barley’s Smokehouse for an evening of beer-ducation and beer consumption.

Rick will be speaking about the culture and history of some of Ohio’s – and Columbus’ – most known breweries, as well as answering the questions brewing in your head and signing copies of the Buckeye state’s new beer bible. After that you’ll have a few hours to mingle, enjoy beer brewed in the very next room and take mini-tours of the beer-making facilities at Barley’s from the brewmaster himself, Angelo Signorino.

We’ll also be giving away a few copies of the book, as well as some other beer-centric prizes won’t want to miss.

This event is FREE to attend, but you must RSVP here to get in! There is limited space available for Rick’s presentation, so if you won’t be able to make it til afterwards please order a “General Admission” ticket.

Thanks to Barley’s Smokehouse for hosting the party! They are located at 1130 Dublin Road, and there is ample parking available in the back.

I’m trying to work with Barley’s to accommodate more people for the presentation – I will hopefully be able to open up a few additional registrations on Monday, so check back!
