Winter Beerfest is only days away, and we want to hook you up with a pair of VIP tickets!
The Winter Beerfest offers more than 260 beers including new Columbus brewery Four String, new-to-be-distributed-here 3 Floyds, new-to-Ohio styles from Yuengling, and new-to-the-festival Ohio breweries Weasel Boy from Zanesville and Cellar Rat from Madison. The full beer list is available online.
Doors open Saturday at 7:30 – the $30 advance, $40 at the door ticket buys you 25 tasting tickets each good for a 5oz sample. Designated driver tickets are also available for $15. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available for $40 advance/$50 door, which includes a souvenir glass and one hour earlier admission to the tasting. You can purchase tickets online.

This couldn’t come at a better freakin time. My younger sister is coming to visit for the weekend. I’ve lived in Ohio and she’s NEVER been to see me. She lives in Boulder, CO is a beer snob and brags about Great American Beerfest. I looked up tickets for this yesterday, but just couldn’t swing that much money. The heavens are aligned and this would be SO MUCH FUN.

My wife and I have a sitter and a date night planned for Saturday. If win these tickets, I get out of seeing TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN, and we will have date night at the beer fest instead!
We need to research for our next recepie, maybe another dark Ipa or a stout. We may even find something to add to one of our existing recepies. Remember, home brewing isnt a hobby, it’s an obsession.

I’d like to take my husband, who loves craft beer. His bachelor party involved going to last years CBus Beerfest with his friends, and I’d like to share the experience with him now that we’re married!
I always enjoy tasting new and/or unique brews and talking with the brewers or their reps. Have heard many good things about Weasel Boy, and I know the 3 Floyds stuff is good.

My wifes 41st birthday is saturday….she said that all she wanted for her birthday is 2 vip tickets to the winter beerfest so her husband can enjoy many different craft breweries with many different styles (yes, I am a beer geek). More importantly, I can introduce my wife some different styles of beer that she may not otherwise try. Also, we have 4 children, and we very rarely get the opportunity to go out. This would allow us an excuse to get a babysitter and go out for some 1 on 1 time (babysitting cost for 4 children is very expensive, but with the tickets given to us, it would help with this expense).
