Signature Wines Sangria Fest

Written by on August 10, 2012 in Uncategorized - 15 Comments

Ah, sangria. The kool-aid of the grown-up world. Cool, refreshing, sweet, fruity. And packed with alcohol.

Signature Wines will host their 3rd Annual Sangria Fest Saturday, August 18 from 6-9p at their urban winery.

Sangria, for the uninitiated, is a punch made up of wine (in this case, Signature Wine’s Rosé), fruit, brandy and sweetener (if you buy a bottle of Rosé you’ll get Signature’s signature recipe.)

The Signature Wines Sangria Fest will feature live music from Enrique Infante as well as tacos from the El Manantial Latino truck and sweet treats from The Cake Chick.

Admission is $10 and can be paid at the door, or online – you get an extra glass of sangria if you pre-pay!

Signature Wines is located at 3816 April Lane.

The best Sangria I’ve ever had was at an authentic Spanish restaurant in Florida, and I’ve been looking for something comparable in Columbus ever since. I definitely need those free tickets.

I’ve never tried Signature Wines. I would love the chance to try a local winery, and what better way than in the form of delicious sangria!

I am from Ohio but I have never heard of Signature Wines. As a huge fan of Sangria I would
absolutely love to get free tickets to this event. It sounds like a great night.

Tried their wines first time at the Granville wine festival. No sangria at the festival however, and didn’t know they sell it. Not missing this event.

I want tickets to this because, apparently, I missed the first two. Now that’s two missed opportunities, two unresolveable regrets in my life, and I’m not sure I could handle a third.

I’m not much of a wine drinker, but I do enjoy the sangria. Also, winning tickets would pretty much make my wife’s day and make me look pretty awesome in the process.

My wife would never agree to spending money on tickets to a sangria festival. Especially after the baby. We both gave up sangria when we got pregnant last year. In fact we haven’t had a drop of alcohol ever sense her monthly friend never showed up. Even more we haven’t been out of the house except for doctors office, work, and hospital. However, can’t even put into words how much WE need something like this right now. We need to remember how to have fun and how we feel in love. On top of all of this her mother came up for the week to help with the baby. Please help
