capital offenseWhen Kurt Stevens, Ohio’s first appointed executioner, finds his wife dead in the bathtub, all the evidence indicates that he’s the murderer. On the run from the law, Kurt must find his wife’s killer before he’s captured. In the process, he may find more than he was looking for.

That’s the premise for a serial novel called Capital Offense, being released online for free. A new chapter is presented each weekday, where you can join the thrill as Kurt races around familiar Columbus landmarks, avoiding capture and uncovering a seditious trail of lies. Capital Offense will be released as a complete novel on January 31, 2014 in print and e-book formats, and will be available from all major book sellers.

At one point in the story, the main character drinks a beer at a Columbus bar which he describes as “the best beer in the world.” The Capital Offense folks asked us to help out by having our readers select the best brew to be immortalized in the book. Let us know what you think it should be in the poll below – feel free to add your own answer by selection “other.” Answers must be in before November 18.
