Four beers from Cellar Dwellar, a Morrow, Ohio-based brewery, are now available in Central Ohio.
Cellar Dwellar is a brewery born from a winery. Brewmaster Steve Shaw, whose family owns Valley Vineyards winery, convinced his in-laws to enter into craft brewing, too. With the brewery occupying the basement of the winery, Shaw literally is the “Cellar Dweller.”
Four beers from the two-year-old brewery are entering the Columbus market this week:
- Hoppy Poppy IPA (7% ABV, 70 IBU)
- Shawesome Black IPA (7.6% ABV, 106.8 IBU)
- Dead Dweller ESB (5.5% ABV, 37.8% ABV)
- Copperhead Pale Ale (5.8% ABV, 36.5 IBU).
All are available in draft only at this time. As of today, The Daily Growler has the Black IPA and House Beer is carrying the ESB and IPA. Dead Dweller and Copperhead will be released in 16 oz. cans in the coming months. More detail about the beers are on local distributor 17th Star’s website.
