Platform Beer Co. announced today that they will be opening a second brewery and taproom in downtown Columbus this summer.

“It is with excitement and a very deep breath that we announce we are ready to get to work on our newest project,” the Ohio City-based brewery posted on their Facebook page this evening, sharing a link to a Cleveland Scene article detailing plans for the expansion.

According to the article, Platform recently acquired a building near the Greater Columbus Convention Center at 408 N. Sixth Street. The facility will house a 3-barrel brewing system with four 7-barrel fermentation tanks, in addition to a taproom accommodating approximately 150 people.
