The 7th Annual Columbus Summer Beerfest is back and bigger than ever, returning to Express Live (formerly The LC) on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6.
The event will feature over 350 craft beers from more than 100 breweries from down the street and around the country. The event will feature food from Mikey’s Late Night Slice, Schmidt’s Sausage Haus, Sophies Gourmet Pierogi, The Beerded Pig, Kenny’s Meat Wagon, Aromaku, Sweet Tooth Twisted Ice Cream and Knotty Pine, with live music from The Winnie Cooper Project on Friday night, and Truslow and Devilโs Lettuce on Saturday night.
General Admission tickets for the Columbus Summer Beerfest, which include a souvenir mug and 25 tasting tickets, are $40 advance or $50 at the door. Early Admission tickets are available for $50 advance or $60 at the door. Through this Friday, July 22, Early Admission entry can be purchased for the same price as General Admission ($40). Designated driver tickets are also available for $20. Tickets can be purchased at http://columbusbeerfest.com/buy-tickets.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Animal Rescue Partners, Inc., a 501-C-3 organization which provides animal welfare resources and responsible pet ownership education to the community. Festivals Unlimited, the company that produces Columbus Beerfest and other beer festivals across Ohio and Pennsylvania, contributed over $160,000 to their nonprofit partners in 2015.
The 2016 Columbus Summer Beerfest is sponsored by Deschutes Brewery, CD102.5, Columbus Alive and The Brew Brothers at Scioto Downs. Columbus Summer Beerfest will take place Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 from 7:30-11:00pm at Express Live, located at 405 Neil Avenue.

This event is one that brings my family together. My brothers and I round up our dad and our wives and all go to have a great time enjoying beer and family. Nothing better than doing the same thing, but for free!
