Homestead Beer Company in Heath will be celebrating their fourth anniversary with an event on January 14th.

Expect of full day of food, fun and beer, along with the release of 22oz bombers of their Drie Belgian Triple IPA. Homestead brewer Sam Sheidlower explains that the 10% ABV Drie is “dry hopped with Columbus, Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo, Galaxy, and Nugget hops, and well balanced from the use of their custom Belgian yeast”. This heady IPA will be available on tap (but no growler sales), in addition to the bombers at $9.99 each with a limit of four. There will also be a series of four special casks tapped during the party.

Doors open at noon, with a trivia contest from 2–4pm followed by an adult spelling bee from 6–8pm. There will also be hourly tours of the brewery and additional trivia questions throughout the day, providing the chance to win some great swag. Moe’s Original BBQ will have its food truck on-site serving their award-winning wings and other BBQ treats.

You might also have a chance to name Homestead’s upcoming barrel aged Belgian Quad. For a shot at winning the naming rights, check Homestead’s Facebook page and successfully solve the four fiendish puzzles.

Homestead’s anniversary will take place from noon to 10pm on Saturday, January 14. Homestead Beer Company is located in Heath at 811 Irving Wick Drive West.
