Columbus Winter Beerfest to boast record number of beers

The 7th Annual Columbus Winter Beerfest is back and bigger than ever, returning to the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21.

The event is expected to feature 450 craft beers from more than 130 breweries, a record for the event. An in-progress beer list is available online.

On Friday, Stone Brewing co-founder and Pataskala native Greg Koch will be at the Beerfest from 7:30-8:30pm for a meet & greet, with a ten-tap truck pouring some special Stone brews. Saturday, the Whiskermen Grooming Company will host the 2nd Annual Columbus Beerfest Beard and Mustache Competition with categories for Beard, Mustache, and BEER’d (for brewery employees) and awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category.

General Admission tickets for the Columbus Winter Beerfest, which include a souvenir mug and 25 tasting tickets, are $45 advance or $55 at the door, and early Admission tickets are available for $55 advance or $65 at the door. New Connoisseur Reception tickets are also available for $85, which include exclusive and larger beer pours and food from local restaurants. The 2017 Columbus Winter Beerfest will take place Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21 from 7-11:30pm at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, located at 400 N High Street.
