Ill Mannered Brewing plans to expand

Ill Mannered Brewing Co. recently turned two and is marking the occasion by breaking ground a larger location.

The Powell-based brewery plans to construct a 1,500 square foot taproom just east of its existing location. The new brewery will offer an expanded menu including guest drafts, wine and spirits, in addition to an outdoor space and a larger production space with expanded capacity.

“We’ve been searching for a larger location since shortly after we opened, and began working on this location about six months ago,” said Tom Ayers, Head Brewer and Co-Owner of Ill Mannered, in a statement. “Our goal has always been to stay in Powell and find a place suited for long term growth.”

Ayers says the brewery will begin construction this fall, with hopes of opening in mid to late 2018.

Ill Mannered Brewing Co. is located at 30 Grace Dr in Powell.
