That brewery on 5th in Grandview finally has a new name

After confirming plans back in June to rebrand, the brewery located at 909 W. Fifth Avenue in Grandview (previously operating as Zauber Brewing, though no longer affiliated with the owner of that brand name) shared today that the operation will be relaunching under the name Endeavor Brewing Company.

“Our brewery is inspired by our team’s unique travel and cultural experiences,” said Endeavor’s Marketing Coordinator Oliver Convertini in a statement. “We draw upon these experiences for inspiration, and we believe our beer reflects this distinct viewpoint.”

The taproom will include a cocktail menu designed by award-winning mixologist Annie Williams, guest drafts, and of course Endeavor’s own craft creations from brewmaster Cameron Lloyd, who had previously headed the brewing operation at Zauber. According to the brewery website, the current lineup includes a pilsner, Belgian witbier, English mild, Belgian tripel, barrel-aged pilsner and an IPA called New World.

“We’re taking a big differentiation from Zauber and will no longer be just German and Belgian focused, although that’s certainly an area of the world that I draw a lot of inspiration from myself, and a lot of my favorite styles come from there, so there will be a fair number of German and Belgian styles within the wheelhouse,” said Lloyd back in June.

Along with a continued commitment to soccer, the new(-ish) brewery will continue to feature food trucks as well. Endeavor will celebrate its grand (re-)opening on Saturday, September 23, including tours and a chance to meet the brewer.

I never visited when this place was under the previous ownership, not out of any reason, just never got to it. Maybe I will have to check this place out finally. As long as there is good beer, and the food trucks have good food, I will be happy.
