Land-Grant + Daily Growler launch New England IPA with Wonka-esque giveaway

The Daily Growler owner John Blakely has teamed up with Land-Grant to brew a New England style IPA.

The beer is called The Corsica, named after the sailboat that Blakely recently purchased… despite no previous sailing experience. The amusing ensuing story of the boat inspired Land-Grant’s Walt Keys, and the collaboration was full speed ahead. The beer is a New England Style Double IPA brewed with Corsican Citron fruit.

The Corsica will be available exclusively on draft at the three Daily Growler locations and at Land-Grant Brewing, with launch events planned at TDB in Upper Arlington on 1/18, TDG in Powell on 1/19, and TDG in the Brewer District on 1/20. Six-pack cans of the beer will be available exclusively from the Land-Grant taproom.

As part of the launch, The Daily Growler and Land-Grant are hosting a Willy Wonka-style golden ticket campaign, with tickets to be hidden inside six-packs of The Corsica and additional winners to be selected from each Daily Growler location. The lucky winners will receive an invitation to sail with Land-Grant and The Daily Growler on The Corsica in May during their Brew Voyage Columbus Craft Beer Week event.
