Commonhouse Ales launches IPA For The People

Commonhouse Ales tapped community feedback in order to choose a brew to be their IPA For The People.

Commonhouse brewed three different IPAs and asked guests at their sister brewpub, Smokehouse Brewing Company, to rank them over a period of several weeks. A panel of thirty five beer geeks and randomly selected customers was then assembled at Smokehouse for an in-person tasting and discussion of the three IPAs. The fan favorite was packaged this week under the brand IPA For The People and will be distributed in bottles and on draft at the end of this week.

“The nose on this one is amazing,” said Lenny Kolada, founder of Commonhouse Ales, in a statement. “It makes you want to dive right in.”

Commonhouse Ales will host an IPA For The People launch party on Saturday, February 3 at Barley Hopsters in Delaware. Amato’s Woodfired Pizza will provide pizza to pair with the new brew.

The B Corp brewery intends to make IPA For The People available throughout the year, joining its flagship Six.One For Good Ale as Commonhouse’s two year-round offerings.
