The Whiskey Barrel Society, the Columbus-founded club for spirit lovers, will host a bourbon dinner featuring Four Roses Distillery’s Master Distiller Jim Rutledge.
Rutledge is responsible for creating some of the world’s greatest whiskeys. In addition to acclaim in the Bourbon Hall of Fame, Rutledge is a member of the Whisky Hall of Fame, has been awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by Malt Advocate Magazine and was “2008 Ambassador of the Year for American Whiskeys” by Whisky Magazine.
Rutledge will present an educational tasting during a dinner at The Kitchen. Attendees will get to sample Four Roses Yellow Label, Four Roses Small Batch and Four Roses Barrel Strength.
The $75 ticket price will cover tastings, dinner and gifts. Tickets can be purchased online, and the first 45 tickets sold will also include two Four Roses gifts. The event will take place Wednesday, September 24 from 6:30-11:30pm.
