Alaska BreweryFour beers are traveling over 3,000 miles from Juneau to Columbus as Alaskan Brewing Co. prepares to launch statewide distribution in Ohio this month.

Beer from the Juneau-based brewery will be available across Ohio beginning July 15, including the brewery’s flagship Amber alt ale; Kicker session IPA; Icy Bay IPA India Pale Ale; and Hopothermia Imperial IPA. Alaskan Brewing Co. will be distributed in Central Ohio by Columbus Distributing Company.

Ohio is the 18th state in which Alaskan Brewing Co. has launched distribution, and the furthest state east for the brewery based in the country’s westernmost state. This year marks the 30th anniversary for Alaskan Brewing Co., which began brewing in 1986 as the country’s 67th independent brewery and the first in Juneau since prohibition was repealed.
