Pucker up: Mad Moon Craft Cidery is releasing a new SweetTarts hard cider.
Mad Moon will be offering both draft and 4-pack bottles of the new cider Tart Side of the Moon, which is made with real SweeTarts and clocks in at 6% ABV.
“We sent the [SweeTarts] marketing department some cider samples throughout the process and, once perfected, they gave us the OK to use their brand name,” said John Pattison from Mad Moon. “They are also sending several cases of sample packets [of SweeTarts] that we plan to attach to each 4-pack.”
The SweetTarts cider is currently available in the Mad Moon taproom, which is located at 2134 Britains Lane, and is rolling out to select bottle shops and retailers in Central Ohio.
