Wolf’s Ridge claims high honors

Last month was a very good month for Wolf’s Ridge Brewing!

First, they continued their success at the Great American Beer Festival with two medals. They snagged Gold in the Coffee Beer category for local favorite, Daybreak. They also took a Bronze in the Smoke Beer category for their Rauchbier, Buchenrauch.

Just a week later, Craft Beer & Brewing magazine announced The Best 20 Beers in 2020. One was from Ohio, and it was Wolf’s Ridge Double Chocolate Rum Barrel Dire Wolf. They described it as having a “nose of deep, dark, rich cacao, sprinkled with roast nuts. Full-bodied with fluffy texture, tasting of dark-chocolate truffle-powder, super rich without being sweet or feeling fatty. The cocoa even brings dark fruity and peppery notes.” They went on to offer homage to two additional beers from Wolf’s Ridge “that lit up their eyes during blind tasting”. These were Daybreak, the Coffee-Vanilla Cream Ale, and Terre du Sauvage Blue, a mixed fermentation saison fermented in oak.

Congrats to WRB!
