There have been rumors circulating on the interwebz for months about the opening of a new bar on North Campus called Ace of Cups. Well, I have confirmed through sources – and by sources, I mean Facebook – that this bar/music venue will be having its soft opening this weekend!
Ace of Cups will occupy the space that has formerly housed Miani’s, Sloopy’s and Counterfeit Heist at 2619 North High Street. The bar is owned by Marcy Mays, co-owner of Surly Girl Saloon and singer/guitarist in Scrawl.
The soft launch will take place Thursday 7/14 through Sunday 7/17 from 4pm to 1am. We’ll be checking it out this weekend to give you the scoop on the space and details on the grand opening.
