If you’re working on the Columbus Ale Trail, Ohio On Tap, the Route 33 Brew Trail, or one of the many Wine Trials, this may be your ticket. Perhaps you would like to pick off a handful of breweries or wineries, but lack a Designated Driver for your crew, then you may want to try Cork and Tap Excursions.
Owner/operator Mike Gerbrandt started the business in June with an initial focus on Athens, Fairfield, Perry, Hocking, Cosochton, and Licking counties, but is now venturing into Franklin County. His 10-seat van is available for most any type of outing, but his focus is on brewery and winery tours.
Bookings are available seven days a week for 4 or 6 hours at $250-$350 for Monday through Thursday, or $350-$450 Friday through Sunday. As a sweet bonus, the clock doesn’t start until you reach your first destination. Pick up and drop off of your crew may be done as a group or potentially with individual curbside pickup. And when mapping out your tour, you can ask Mike to organize it for maximum efficiency or customize it yourself.
Cork and Tap Excursions is based in Lancaster and may be contacted at 740-409-4123 or at corkandtapohio.com.
