Beneath an awning of grapevine green, Vito’s Wine Bar in Delaware, Ohio offers Sandusky Street a flavorful paradise of fine wine, great bourbon and mouth watering tapas.
Just one year after opening in the historic Downtown Delaware scene, Vito’s Wine Bar has caught the attention of Central Ohio wine enthusiasts, bourbon lovers, and those in pursuit of Ohio’s best Manhattan.
Designed in a two tier aesthetic where sophistication meets chic, Vito’s Wine Bar delivers flavor seeking patrons with both a wine bar and bar stocked with aged scotches, bourbons, and whiskeys. For those beer lovers out there, have thy palate fear not. Vito’s also has three Columbus Brewing Company selections on tap.
In addition to the drinks offered at Vito’s bar, a carefully selected ensemble of wine is available for purchase to enjoy at home, or even in the store. A first level tier made comfortable by tables and leather bound chairs, the venue easily accommodates a last minute decision to chill out for a glass of crisp white wine. Vito’s wine vending machine lets you load a card with cash and use it to try different types of wine fresh from the machine. There are taste, half-glass and full-glass options for varying prices ranging from just over a dollar for a taste up to about $6 for a full glass.
Monday nights Vito’s offers half price Manhattans. Owner Mike Shaw has taken pride is his ingredients from the alcohol all the way to the cherry. Served in a glass dressed to artistic design, royal contents of the Manhattan find sweeting with rich, organic cherry juice of burgundian shade.
