bleeding buckeyeElevator Brewing Company is now offering their beer in cans, with Bleeding Buckeye Red Ale first off the canning line.

“We wanted to be the first modern brewery in central Ohio to offer a beer in cans,” said Elevator Operator Dick Stevens in a statement.

Elevator partnered with Buckeye Canning to complete a two-day canning run in mid-September. Bleeding Buckeye Red Ale is now available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans in the Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton and Akron markets. At this point, the beer will only be offered in cans during the fall, but depending on the popularity may become a year-round offering, with other Elevator brews to follow.
