After more than a year of looking for a location, Land-Grant Brewing Company is landing in East Franklinton.
Land-Grant shared last August that the brewery had secured a building in the Grandview Yard development, then posted barely a week later that they had lost their lease on the space and were searching for a new location.
Several months later, Land-Grant announced today that they are moving into East Franklinton at 424 W Town Street, just across the street from the 400 West Rich building, which houses Strongwater Food and Spirits among other creative enterprises. The new space will hold a production brewery as well as a public taproom.
“Our real estate search has been a long, and–at times–trying process. But we’re excited by the prospect of starting our business in East Franklinton,” said Land-Grant President Adam Benner in a statement. “There is a momentum and electricity surrounding the neighborhood, and we’re eager to be a part of that.”
Once complete, the 8,000 sq/ft production floor will house a 20bbl brew house, and the 3,200 sq/ft taproom will serve Land-Grant beer as well as other local beer and spirits. The brewery hopes to be open mid-to-late Summer.
