The 2014 World Beer Cup was held Friday at the conclusion of the Craft Brewers Conference in Denver, and Columbus Brewing Company earned a gold medal to bring back to Central Ohio.
CBC won a gold medal in the Imperial Red Ale category for Uncle Rusty. There were 43 other entries in that category.
Other Ohio breweries taking home a medal include Willoughby Brewing Company (Gold: Peanut Butter Cup Coffee Porter), Thirsty Dog Brewing Company (Bronze: Bourbon Barrel Aged Siberian Night Imperial Stout) and Fat Head’s Brewery (Silver: Head Hunter, Silver: Bonehead).
