Seventh Son Brewing Co is the latest Columbus brewery to utilize Buckeye Canning to package up their craft brews.

Seventh Son has canned their pale ale, Humulus Nimbus, as well as their Seventh Son American Strong Ale. The initial canning release is limited – just 50 cases of Strong Ale and 100 cases of Humulus Nimbus – but Seventh Son has scheduled a second canning date in August and plans to can twice as much the second time around.

Fellow Columbus breweries Four String and Elevator have also taken advantage of the cost-effective mobile canning line, which allows breweries to can beer without needing to invest in a costly canning line or dedicate space in their facility to house it.

Humulus Nimbus retails for $9.99 and the Strong Ale for $10.99. Cans are available at Corner Stone Craft Beer & Wine, The Barrel & Bottle, Tobacco For Less, Weiland’s Market and House Beer.
