medalsToday it was announced that Columbus Brewing Company was awarded two medals at the Great American Beer Festival, which is being currently wrapping up in Denver.

CBC’s Creeper brings back the gold medal for the Imperial India Pale Ale category, outranking offerings from Port Brewing Company in San Marcos and even the famous Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing Company. Bodhi was also awarded a bronze medal in the American-Style India Pale Ale category.

Other Ohio breweries to medal at GABF include JAFB Wooster Brewery (silver – Wooster New Stout), Fat Head’s Brewery (gold – AlpenGlow German-style wheat ale) and Triple Digit Brewing (bronze – Nutcase Peanut Butter Porter).

The Wooster New Stout from JAFB really is a fine example of the craft. here’s hoping JAFB gets a wider distribution so we dont have to keep driving up to wooster to drink it!
