land grant defacedAfter Land-Grant Brewing Company’s beautiful barnwood facade was vandalized over the weekend, the new brewery has decided to use the unfortunate attention they’ve attracted for a good cause.

The brewery is taking pre-orders for a t-shirt mirroring the color splats that deface their wooden walls. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Land-Grant’s neighbors, The Gladden Community House and the Harmony Project.

“In the early morning hours of Sunday, December 8 2014, our barn-wood facade was vandalized by some ‘artists,'” the brewery posted on its Facebook page this morning. “It’s a tough thing to see something you worked your ass off on be disrespected in such a blatant and targeted fashion. None-the-less, for every lazy vandal in town there’s countless more folks working to benefit both our awesome neighborhood of Franklinton and Columbus as a whole, and we wanted to take this careless act and use it to shine a light on some of the folks working towards a positive end.”

You can order the shirt through December 25 here.
