Sideswipe Brewing is celebrating one year in the brewing business with a party on January 24.
Nine Sideswipe Brewing beers will be available on tap at the event — the most ever at one time — including three special releases. The event also will include giveaways, brewery tours and an on-site food truck.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already, but what an amazing year it has been,” said Craig O’Herron, Sideswipe Brewing’s owner and brewer, in a statement. “We see this anniversary party as a way to celebrate our explosive growth over the last year and say ‘thanks’ to our loyal and passionate customers.”
Three new beers will be available on tap at the event, each offering a twist on one of Sideswipe Brewing’s flagship beers. The beers include a bourbon barrel-aged smoked stout, a take on Elegant Hoodlum Smoke Stout; a super-hopped IPA, a derivative of Fisticuffs IPA; and a cherry saison, a variant of Coop Looter Saision.
Moving forward, Sideswipe Brewing will also expand taproom hours to three days a week. The taproom will be open from 5-9pm on Thursdays and 5-10pm on Fridays and Saturdays beginning the week after the event.
The anniversary party will take place Saturday, January 24 from 2-8pm. Sideswipe Brewing is located just south of Grandview at 2419 Scioto Harper Drive.
