Zaftig Brewing is celebrating their one year anniversary with a party at their intimate, industrial taproom.
Two specialty beers will be released for the event: Batch #50 French Oak Aged, and Batch #50 Bourbon Barrel Aged in a Watershed Bourbon Barrel.
“This beer is considered a American Strong ale, and is not for the faint of heart,” said Zaftig’s Jim Gokenbach about the Watershed-aged beer. “It is a big, complex monster that embodies what Zaftig stands for.”
They will also have most of their regular beers on-tap for the event , including Black Perle Stout, Bam Ba Lam Breakfast Stout, Heavy Hearted Amber, Shadowed Mistress, Wee Heavy, Big BarleyWine, 3-Socks Double IPA, and IBS Holiday Ale.
The Pitabilities food truck will be serving on-site. Additional snacks will be provided by Short North Piece of Cake, plus Hopped Corn flavored with Zaftig’s Shadowed Mistress and Black Perle Stout.
The anniversary party is slated for February 28th from 11am-6pm. Zaftig Brewing is located at 545 Schrock Road.
