Hoof Hearted Brewing expanding

hoof-hearted-brewingEveryone’s favorite fart joke inspired brewery (OK, it’s probably the only fart joke inspired brewery) is relocating and increasing production.

According to The Ohio Beer Blog, Marengo-based brewing operation Hoof Hearted is moving into a larger location closer to the interstate. The new spot is still pretty rural, located on County Road 26 about five miles from their current location on Township Highway 211. The brewery hopes to be up and running in the new location in six to eight weeks.

To fill their new digs, Hoof Hearted has acquired new 30-barrel fermenters, with a 15-barrel brewhouse expected to arrive soon. Hoof Hearted has been brewing on a home-grown seven barrel brewhouse since launching in 2012. With increased production, Hoof Hearted will expand into packaging, utilizing mobile canning operation Buckeye Canning.
