north-high-cansNorth High Brewing is the latest local brewery to begin packaging beer, with plans to launch cans just in time for Columbus Craft Beer Week.

The brewery intends to debut cans of IPA, milk stout and pale ale on May 1.

North High began partnering with Premium Beverage for distribution last month. The brewery has a 20-barrel production brewing system at the corner of 5th Ave and Cleveland Ave, in addition to a smaller system used primarily for brew-on-premise at its 1288 N. High St. taproom.

While there are almost two dozen breweries in Central Ohio, only about half package their beer, and several of those only do so on a very limited basis.
