This week the Ohio Craft Brewers Association, the nonprofit guild that supports breweries in the buckeye state, unveiled new branding for its organization which includes an icon to help consumers quickly idenfity Ohio-brewed beers on store shelves.
“The bold design has an Arts and Crafts aura befitting our handmade beer and incorporates symbolic grains and hops, key ingredients to Ohio’s craft brewers,” said OCBA Executive Director Mary MacDonald in a statement. “The logo, combined with the compelling new platform, gives us the tools to communicate the contributions of Ohio’s craft brewers locally, regionally and nationally.”
Aside from the redesigned logo above which will be used by the OCBA, a variant of the logo that reads “Ohio Craft Beer” was created for breweries to use on labels and other packagings.
Individuals interested in supporting the Ohio Craft Brewers Association can join as an enthusiast member for $30 annually.
