As they shared back in September, part of BrewDog’s ambitious expansion plans include opening a bar downtown to supplement the suburban Canal Winchester brewery they’re building. Their Columbus crew has been on the hunt for locations for a few weeks but today the BrewDog blog put out a call for help to Columbus residents to help them find a suitable location.

Here are their requirements:

  • Located in the Short North, Italian Village, Franklinton and the Victorian Village.
  • 2,000 – 5,000 square feet, with the majority of that space at street level
  • External areas are definitely a bonus
  • Site that is zoned for retail/restaurant use andliquor license approval

  • Send Katie a Tweet if you know of any good spots!

(Also, who the heck calls Columbus “the Discover City”?)

With those space requirements, Italiano Village and the gentrified Bottoms would appear to be the likely destinations.
