Two central Ohio breweries received national recognition this month in the January issue of BeerAdvocate Magazine, issue #108.

Out of 4000+ micro-breweries in the nation, the brewery featured in their monthly ‘From The Source’ column was Westerville’s own Temperance Row Brewing. Tony Cabilovski, Uptown Deli and Brew’s ownner, and Temperance Row’s iconic brewer, Scott Frances, were profiled in the piece. Frances, the undisputed Godfather of craft brewing in central Ohio, received much deserved national recognition for his contributions to the industry.

In a second article, ‘The Class of 2015,’ featured the 33 best new breweries that opened last year out of the 400-500 that opened in 2015. One of those featured was Clintonville’s Lineage Brewing. The husband and wife teams of Mike & Jessica Byrne and Carey Hall & Jessica Page were recognized as having created a venue that delivers the whole package: venue, vibe, beer and food.
