Land-Grant and Seventh Son have collaborated on a double IPA called Scorched Earth, and are figuratively scorching some earth tomorrow during a bar crawl marking the beer’s release.
Scorched Earth is a Double IPA brewed with agave nectar. The beer was brewed in two collaborative sessions, one at Seventh Son and one at Land-Grant, following the exact same recipe except for the yeast: Seventh Son used Land-Grant’s house yeast for their batch, and Land-Grant used Seventh Son’s house yeast in theirs, “as a testament to the impact that these little microorganisms have on beer.”
Beginning at Land-Grant and working their way to Seventh Son, representatives from both breweries will also be visiting Woodlands Tavern, Bodega and Studio 35 with giveaways at every stop along the way.
Here’s the lineup for the March 15 bar crawl:
4pm: Land-Grant Brewing Company Taproom
5pm: Woodlands Tavern
6pm: Bodega Columbus
7pm: Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse
8pm: Seventh Son Brewing Taproom
