Firkin’ right! Smokehouse Brewing Company’s 13th annual Mini Real Ale Fest is happening this Saturday featuring fabulous infused firkins from over a dozen Ohio craft breweries.
This annual ‘fest features firkins of “Real Ale”, or cask ale — unfiltered and unpasteurized beer served directly from the cask it is conditioned in, without added CO2. The lineup for the event has me drooling a bit on my keyboard.

Columbus Brewing: Bodhi infused with fresh blueberries and mint

Kindred Artisan Ales: Farmhouse Pale Ale with grapefruit, dry hopped with Citra, Summer & Equinox

The 13th annual Mini Real Ale Fest will take place from 12-3pm on Saturday, May 14 at Smokehouse Brewing Company, located at 1130 Dublin Road.
full disclosure: Smokehouse is a client – although I’ve been saying years before we started working together that this is one of my favorite events in Columbus!
