Angela PerleyHomestead brewery has collaborated with Angela Perley & the Howlin’ Moons on a rockin’ new brew.

The beer is the latest in Homestead’s Artists Series of beers honoring music loved by the Homestead team. Past releases include 3MCs DIPA, named after the Beastie Boys, and Blonde on Blonde, a tribute to Bob Dylan.

“I wanted to honor my favorite local band with our latest installment,” said Homestead Head Brewer Sam Sheidlower. “Rather than just name it after them, we called them up and they were more than happy to be involved.”

The resulting collaboration is an American IPA with generous amounts of Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe hops. The beer is named Homemade Vision after the bands’ recently released album of the same name.

“The most important part was to build a beer that the band would love,” said Sheidlower

The beer will be released this year at Digfest on Saturday, June 11, where Angela Perley & the Howlin’ Moons will also be performing. Homemade Vision will be distributed to area bars the following week
