Digfest, the kickass local booze festival whose name sounds suspiciously like an all-male orgy when you say it out loud, is back this weekend for its sixth year. Digfest – which actually stands for “Drinks In Grandview” Fest – returns this Saturday to Grandview Yard.
More than 30 breweries will be pouring at this year’s event including Actual Brewing, Barley’s Brewing, The Brew Brothers, The Brew Kettle, Buckeye Lake Brewery, Catawba Island Brewing, Cellar Dwellar, Columbus Brewing Company, The Dayton Beer Company, Elevator Brewing, Fat Head’s Brewery, Four String Brewing, Granville Brewing, Hofbrauhaus Columbus, The Hairless Hare Brewery, Homestead Beer, Ill Mannered Brewing, Jackie O’s Brewery, Kindred Artisan Ales, Knotty Pine Brewing, Land-Grant Brewing, Lineage Brewing, Little Fish Brewing, MadTree Brewing, Rhinegeist Brewery, Maumee Bay Brewing, Millersburg Brewing, North High Brewing, Pigskin Brewing, Platform Beer, Seventh Son Brewing, Sideswipe Brewing, Smokehouse Brewing, Wolf’s Ridge Brewing, Zaftig Brewing and Zauber Brewing, with additional Ohio beer poured by The Daily Growler and The Ohio Taproom.
The event will also feature spirits from Karate Cowboy, Middle West Spirits, Mill Street Distillery and Watershed Distillery, and wine from Camelot Cellars and Signature Wines.
In addition to drinks, Digfest will feature a few craft and apparel vendors; food from Cap City Fine Diner, Dewey’s Pizza, DK Diner, Hofbrauhaus Columbus, Hudson 29, Marshall’s, Matt the Miller’s, Queen’s Table, Red Hook Grill, Schmidt’s, Skyward Grille, Yats and Yumii Kettle Corn; and live music from DJ Carlo, The High Definitions and Angela Perley & the Howlin’ Moons, the latter of whom collaborated with Homestead on a beer that will be featured at the event (learn more).
The event itself is free to attend, with tickets for drink samples available for $3 a piece; beer, wine and spirit samples require one drink ticket, and full pours cost two. VIP tickets are available online though Friday, which include a souvenir glass, larger pours and line skipping.
Digfest will take place Saturday, June 11 from 4-10:30pm in the First Avenue Park at Grandview Yard.
