Beer for all! For the upcoming Buckeyes football season, Ohio Stadium will sell beer stadium-wide.

Local craft beer options — including Land-Grant Brewing Company, North High Brewing, and Four String Brewing Company — will be available at designated craft beer stations in the stadium.

Land-Grant had worked with food and beverage provider Levy Restaurants at Mapfre Stadium and the Schottenstein Center. When a trial-run of beer in the ‘Shoe took place last season, Land-Grant’s Stiff-Arm IPA was included.

“They naturally thought of our Stiff-Arm IPA as an excellent fit for that program,” said Walt Keys of Land-Grant. “Being a great Columbus IPA with a natural football tie-in, the beer did well in that environment, and we’re excited to be a part of the expansion to the rest of the stadium.”

So far, Stiff-Arm is the only guaranteed brew of Land-Grant, but other varieties will be offered for $9.

Keys and fellow founder Adam Benner are both self-described proud alumni of Ohio State and named their brewery in homage to the institution. Keys said the majority of employees are also either fellow alumni or big Buckeye fans.

“It will be a real honor for all of us to see our beer at the ‘Shoe,” he said.
