Bust out your brightly colored mugs because ComFest 2016 is taking place all weekend at Goodale Park with plenty of live music, local food, arts and crafts, and adult drinks.
Black tokens ($7) can get you 20oz pour of Columbus Brewing IPA, Columbus Brewing Summer Teeth, Four String Brass Knuckle pale ale, or Redd’s Apple Ale. Blue tokens ($5) are good for a 20oz pour of Miller Lite or PBR.
This year the wine and liquor tents are combined, and are offering mixed drinks Bozo Punch and Jazz-O-Lade; an Ohio-made Pinot Noir and Riesling (I didn’t catch which winery they’re from); and Brothers Drake’s Ginger Verve mead as alcoholic alternatives for non-beer drinkers.
As a reminder, the old 32oz ComFest mugs are no longer accepted as of last year. You can bring a 2013-2015 20oz mug to refill, or purchase a new one for $3 at the event. Of course, you could also just get your drink in a disposable plastic cup, but the hippies will judge you. Think of the planet, man.
Last call at ComFest will be at 10:30pm on Friday, June 24; 8:30pm on Saturday, June 25; and 7:30pm on Sunday, June 26.
