Seventh Son is releasing a collaboration brew with Michigan’s Dark Horse Brewing tonight at their taproom and at other bars throughout the week.
The beer is a stout called Future Boss. Future Boss is brewed with 13 malts and 7 hops for what Seventh Son brewer Colin Vent describes as a rich, malty, bitter brew at 7.6% ABV/
“We’ve been friendly with Dark Horse for a few years now and we’d tossed around the idea of doing a collab,” said Vent. “They are on something of a tear with collabs this year, so we finally found time to make it happen.”
Dark Horse brewer Bryan Wiggs brewed the beer with Vent at Seventh Son during Columbus Craft Beer Week. Vent will be heading to Michigan to brew another batch on Dark Horse’s system this fall.
Future Boss will be tapped tonight, June 28 at Seventh Son and St. James Tavern at 4pm; tomorrow, June 29 at Local Bar and House Beer at 4pm; and Thursday, June 30 at Crafty Pint and The Pint Room at 4pm. Representatives from both breweries brewery will be at all tappings.
