“Tap” your wild side during Craft Brew at the Zoo on August 26 for an evening of craft beers and adorable animals at the Columbus Zoo.
Beer from Ohio breweries Columbus Brewing, Four String and Rivertown will be poured at the event, in addition to offerings from Harpoon, Leinenkugel, Long Trail, Oskar Blues, Southern Tier, Swetwater, Small Town Brewery (Not Your Father’s) and Blue Moon.
90s band Smash Mouth will perform at the event, with local opening act The Pretty Filth. There will also be food trucks on-site.
Brew at the Zoo will take place Friday, August 26 from 6-11pm at the Columbus Zoo. Tickets are $40 — $15 for designated drivers — and are available online. Note that this isn’t a beer fest with unlimited (or virtually unlimited) sampling; rather, admission includes two 16-ounce beers, plus all-day zoo admission and the Smash Mouth show. Additional beers will be available for purchase.
