DankHouse Brewing now features a playground for adults.
The Newark-based brewery’s spacious side yard is now outfitted with games including king-sized beer pong and corn hole. While you can stop by anytime to play, if you’re a “boss of the toss” you’ll want to visit DankHouse on Wednesday evenings for the weekly cornhole tournament. Owners Josh and Heather Lange have brought in Ted Wiley, a Certified Corn Hole Official and professional player (who knew?) to run the tournaments, which start at 6:30pm each Wednesday. There is a $5 entry fee and the winnings are split between the first and second place teams. Teams are set up with a blind drawn to make the competition as fair as possible.
DankHouse Brewing is located at 161 Forry Street in Newark.
