Dine Originals Columbus’ signature annual event, Taste of Dine Originals, is taking place Thursday, May 12, and is can’t-miss for foodies and winos, featuring tastings and samplings from 50 local restaurants and, more importantly (to us), 30 vineyards, 2 craft breweries and a couple of micro distilleries, too!
This event is a great chance to sample food from an eclectic mix of the best restaurants in town, including Alana’s, Barcelona, Basi Italia, Deep Wood, G. Michael’s, Pistacia Vera, Rigsby’s, The Top Steakhouse, Tip Top, Tasi Cafe Skillet, Worthington Inn and Z Cucina. The Dine Originals mission is to celebrate, support and promote locally owned and operated independent restaurants by providing unique dining experiences for its patrons and collaborative services and benefits for it members. For this year’s Taste event, they have partenered with The Buckeye Ranch, which provides hope and healing to children and families by offering family-focused mental health treatment and alcohol/drug services for children with behavioral or psychological and substance abuse disorders.
This year’s event will be held at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center on May 12 from 6-9pm. Tickets are $100 and proceeds will benefit The Buckeye ranch and Dine Originals Columbus.
