No, the quarter in “quarter beer” here doesn’t refer to the quantity in the kegs, but rather the location – The Old Worthington Quarter will once again host its annual Beer Festival. Located at High Street and New England Avenue, the Quarter houses event organizers House Wine and Rivage Atlantique, as well as The Candle Lab, Elli Nail, Spa, Little Tree Studios and Graeter’s Ice Cream.
This year the beer festival has been moved to fall with an Octoberfest theme, featuring fall beers from American craft breweries. Here’s the current beer lineup (subject to change):
Bell’s Two HeartedBell’s Oberon
Bell’s Oatmeal Stout
Bell’s Octoberfest
Stoudt’s Oktoberfest
Flying Dog’s Dogtoberfest
New Holland’s Ichabod Pumpkin Ale
New Holland’s Full Circle Kolsch
Troeg’s Dead Reckoning IPA
Tommyknocker’s Maple Nut Brown
Founder’s Porter
Founder’s Breakfast Stout
Southern Tier’s Pumking

I was really hoping quarter was a reference to the price of a beer! The tripple entendre fails me again. Shucks.
haha I didn’t even think about that – I guess I’m not hat optimistic 🙂
