This is a guest post by Brandie Williams. Brandie believes that drinking your feelings should be a delicious endeavor! She’ll never say “no” to more hops or a free shot.
What’s better than a bunch of delicious beers on draft? A bunch of delicious beers on draft and really good pizza. Yellow Brick Pizza and Cavalier Distributing are partnering to bring you that wonderful combination as part of their first annual Brewers Passport, which runs from October 17th to October 22nd.
As part of this week-long event, you’ll be able to sample an awesome variety of beers, including some that have never been seen in the Columbus market. They’ll also be handing out various prizes throughout the week, including t-shirts, pint glasses, and gift certificates, as well as offering pub trivia and karaoke.
Each day at 4pm, Yellow Brick will be tapping 2-4 beers, which can be purchased either as full pints or a flight of samples. If you complete your Passport, you’ll be eligible for a slew of prizes at the wrap up event on Friday.
Oh, and did I mention that the wrap up event is a Wizard of Oz-themed drag show?!? (This starts at 10pm. You know I’m gonna be there!)
Here’s what’s on tap for the week:
Monday – Stone Vertical Epic 09.09.09, Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA, Stone Imperial Russian Stout
Tuesday – Hitachino Nest Red Rice Ale, Hitachino Nipponia
Wednesday – Brauerei Heller-Trum / Schlenkerla Aecht Schlenkerla Krausen, Brouwerij Drie Fonteinen Zwet.Be
Thursday – Mikkeller Koppi Coffee IPA, Mikkeller Belgian Tripel, Mikkeller Draft Bear, Mikkeller Frelser
Friday – Three Floyds Dreadnaught, Three Floyds Broo Doo, Dogfish Head Namaste
There’s no cost to sign up for the Passport (or the drag show!), but you should go sign up for it so that Yellow Brick is expecting you.
