AleFest Columbus is just around the corner, with your chance to try over 150 craft beers from more than 50 American craft breweries.

The fest will take place Saturday, May 19 with two separate sessions: 1-4pm and 6-9pm. The event will be held at Brewmaster’s Gate, located at 495 S. Front St in the Brewery District.

This is the first spring edition of this event, though organizer Joe Waizmann has coordinated seven winter “AleFest Columbus” events annually, in addition to organizing several recurring beer events in Dayton.

$40 admission includes 20 samples of craft beer, a tasting glass and a tasting guide. Tickets are available online or at the door. A portion of the proceeds benefits SODZ Columbus Area Homebrew Club.
