Hoof Hearted taps June 7 at Jury Room

Hoof Hearted Brewing will (finally) have their first beer – Musk of the Minotaur IPA – available commercially Thursday, June at 7 the Jury Room.

They were hoping to be sending kegs out the door in early April, which then got pushed back to early May, which got pushed back to now – “delay” is a common word for most of Columbus’ new breweries.

Hoof Hearted co-founder Trevor Williams says the beer is expected to tap around 4pm on Thursday. He and co-founder Jared Bichon will be at the bar enjoying the hops of their labor and chatting about their brewery with anyone who stops by.

I got a chance to try Musk of the Minotaur this past weekend at Barley’s Afternoon with the Brewers event and I thought it was a really delicious beer – even though Williams and Bichoon said it had been an “express batch” that had only been dry hopped for three days.
