101 Beer Kitchen is one of those places that doesn’t have a “brunch menu,” so it sort of slipped my mind for this series, but after finding myself back at 101 Beer Kitchen for the 4th or 5th time indulging in foodstuffs and boozestuffs in the late morning, it occured to me that I was having drunk brunch at 101 Beer Kitchen.
And you can, too!
If you haven’t been to the year-old gastropub in Dublin, you’re missing out. I love the space, the cozy fireplaces, the growler-acting-as-a-water-jug on every table. Most importantly, I love the food and drink.
101 Beer Kitchen has one of the most unique beer menus in Columbus. Sure, there are plenty of bars in Columbus that serve great craft beer anymore, but they all tend to serve the same types of craft beer. Everytime I come here, I find half a dozen draft selections that I’ve either never heard of or never see on a menu. They also have a rotating selection of tasty seasonal cocktails, and a house bloody mary worth getting out of bed for.
Several delicious sandwhiches are available, including a Monte Cristo, Pork Belly BLT with egg, and, my favorite, a grilled cheese sandwhich with brie, pear, fig and honey. Pair any of them with a side of beer cheese soup, trust me.
101 Beer Kitchen opens daily at 11am – since this isn’t a “brunch menu,” brunch is available all day, e’ryday! 101 Beer Kitchen is located at 7509 Sawmill Road.
