I see that these results are listed as percentages. How many people took the survey?
There were about 500 votes – the percentages are based on people who voted in a particular category though, i.e. if only 350 people voted for Best Happy Hour, the percentage is out of 350, not 500. Cheers!
It’s great to see all the support for our local businesses… But the results don’t seem very intuitive in some of the beer and spirit categories — and so different from the “Best of’s…” done by all the local pubs. Why do you think the results of the drink up poll are so different from the Alive and 614 annual lists? Different audience?
