buckeye lake brewery bottlesBuckeye Lake Brewery will soon be offering a limited release of bottled beer.

They are currently awaiting approval from the TTB (the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) for the bottles labels, which they expect to receive within the next 30 days.

Owner Rich Hennosy plans to release Buckeye Lake’s Vanilla Porter, Coffee Stout, Coconut Stout and 2x IPA in 22oz bottles in to-be-determined quantities.

“We are essentially ‘dipping our toe in the water’ when it comes to bottling,” said Hennosy. “We will likely do 10 or 20 cases, and then move on to another style and see how that goes. Everything is a learning experience for us.”

Hennosy says Corner Stone Craft Beer & Wine in Olde Towne East has already committed to carrying Buckeye Lakes beers when they are available – he is waiting to approach other retailer until the beer is bottled.
